Zlatoust Armory: Yuri Okuntsov

The book proposed for the attention of readers for the first time presents complete information about the history of the Zlatoust arms factory – the only enterprise in Russia specializing in the production of cold weapons. In chronological order, from the founding of the factory at the beginning of the 19th century to the cessation of weapons production in the middle of the 20th century, the manufacture of all samples of uniform blade weapons is considered. Attention was paid to the technology of obtaining high -quality blade steel, the production cycle of preparing weapons and its acceptance. The publication is entirely based on archival documents and unique collections of weapons.
