XX century in the context of art: Karen Akopyan

The content of the essay in the nature of the book of the doctor of philosophical sciences K, Z, Akopyan quite accurately and fully expresses its name: these are thoughts about the fate of art that have passed the test of the twentieth century. Art is considered by the author as a living organism experiencing a protracted crisis, which was caused by both the processes that occur inside this organism itself and the state of its sociocultural environment. Therefore, attention in the work is paid not only to artistic, but also to the permanent phenomena, which, on the one hand, most clearly expressed various aspects of the painful state of the main subject of consideration, and on the other hand, contributed to the emergence of these conditions.
