Wolves on parachutes: Asya Petrova

Asya Petrova – a prose writer and translator of children’s and adult French literature –
Guillaume Apolliner, Ericam-Emmanuel Schmitt, Bernana Frio. She participated
In three festivals “Young writers around Detgiz” in 2009-2011, and in 2011
became also the owner of the first prize of the All-Russian Internet competition for children
Literature “Book” for a collection of stories “Wolves on parachutes.”
This is how the children’s jury of the competition responded to Asi’s work:
“Living language, living thinking children, and not some kind of dummies that may not like here? I would give my children this if I had them …”
“It just seemed to me that there was some kind of unbiased view of life, not the same to which we are used to …”
