The book is a collection of more than 300 carefully selected finished solutions of various problems for programmers on Visual Basic 2005, which are set forth in the form of “Problem – Solving – Discussion.” Recipes are streamlined by the type of problem being solved. Almost every recipe is accompanied by a full source code with comments, an explanation of the technology underlying its work, as well as a brief description of alternative solutions and possible restrictions. Hundreds of fragments of software code, examples and solutions are given: for working with databases, withdrawing documents for printing, encryption and compression of data, working with graphics, manipulations with files and much more. Projects of increased complexity are considered, focused on working with multimedia and mathematical transformations using the methods of linear algebra. The features of updating programs written on Visual Basic 6 are described, taking into account the changes introduced in Visual Basic 2005.
