Under the wings – Berlin: Yuri Vinogradov

The novel of the remarkable Russian writer Yuri Alexandrovich Vinogradov resurrects one of the little -known pages of the war – the bombing of the capital of fascist Germany in August – September 1941. In the most difficult days for our homeland, bold raids on Berlin were carried out by sea pilots of the 1st mine-torpedo regiment of the 8th bomber aviation brigade of the Baltic Fleet under the command of Colonel E.N. Preobrazhensky.
