The personality of the Third Russian Tsar from the Romanov dynasty rarely attracted the attention of historians. Tsar Fedor Alekseevich (1676-1682) ascended the throne at the age of fourteen, but died, not having lived until twenty-one years. At the same time, most of his short reign, he was dead (even at the age of age, the prince received a severe trauma of the spine). He did not leave the heir by himself, and his death was marked by the terrible Streltsky uprising, as a result of which his sister Tsarevna Sophia took power in the country. But what is surprising: in six years of his reign, a lot has been done: the localistry was destroyed, the most important reforms in the field of education and culture began.
