The book is a kind of continuation and development of the monograph “Trial. Living aesthetics and modern philosophy of art” (M.: Progress-Tradition, 2012), but at the same time completely self-sufficient, structurally and methodologically different from it. Along with the discussion of the authors on many topical issues of modern philosophy of art, aesthetics, and cultural studies, the book includes an extensive block of response of well-known humanitarians on a large “triaalog” (2012), many of which are actively entering the theoretical discussion with the authors for one or another problem for modern humanitarian science. In general, in a small in volume book there is a fruitful conversation about the problems of image, expression, symbolization and simulacrilization in art, about the boundaries of its post -Ustrusipable hermeneutics, about aesthetics as a way of life.
