The theory of restrictions (TOS) gives the leader the opportunity to create simplified models of complex production and business systems, allowing to describe and control important events in the organization.

Eli Schragenheim’s book is devoted to the practical aspects of the application of the theory of restrictions. Each chapter gives a description of the problem that any company can encounter: production, service, small business. Overcoming the problem always requires the resolution of the dilemma, the choice of the “best of two evils”, forced consent to some negative consequences. It seems that the ideal is unattainable.
