The book shows a close relationship of the personality and work of N.V. Gogol, its spiritual (Orthodox) foundations. For the first time, the psychological aspects of Gogol’s work were purposefully disclosed, including the original personality concept, embodied in an artistic form, which reflects his own internal dispensation and dynamics of spiritual development. Types of the personality of Gogol characters are described depending on the leading value orientation, which corresponds to the creative plans of Gogol himself.
