This novel is inspired by the circumstances of the acquaintance and parting of Mikhail Bulgakov with Princess Kira Kozlovskaya, described in the books “House of Margarita” and “Bulgakov and Margarita”. The year 1921 came, Bulgakov sits on a train in Kyiv with the intention of going to conquer Moscow, and then something completely impossible happens: having reached the capital, he discovers that on the calendar … August 1991. The writer finds himself in the new time, but it turns out that in seventy years, almost nothing has changed in the morals of the metropolitan public and bureaucracy.
