The Museum of the “Chamber of Boyars of the Romanov” – one of the oldest museums in Moscow, is located near the Kremlin.
The book introduces the history of this ancient region, with the genealogy of the boyars of the Romanovs, with the museum and its exposition. Readers will be able to learn a lot of new and interesting about the life and morals of Moscow boyars of the 17th century, as well as about Moscow of the XII-XVI centuries, descending to a small underground museum.
The application of the book contains a chronograph of the events of Russian history of the XVII century, a dictionary of ancient words and expressions, a brief genealogy of the boyars of the Romanovs, excerpts from the notes of foreigners about Muscovy and information about the work of the museum.
