The poet, an essayist, translator, publicist Vladimir Bereyazev was born in Prokopyevsk (Kuzbass) in 1959. The author of eight poetic collections and a novel in the verses of Mogota. Published in many Russian and foreign magazines: “New World”, “Our Contemporary”, “Moscow”, “Ural”, “Foreign Notes”, “Khreshchatyk” (Germany); “New Russian Word” (USA) and others. From 1990 to 1997. He was the director of the Mangazey publishing house. Currently, the editor -in -chief of the magazine “Siberian Lights”.
The book included 19 Eurasian poems written by V. Bereyazev in thirty years – works of historical, exotic, and actual -modern ones. The material for them was the plots of numerous travels of the author, myths and legends, as well as real events that occurred in the vastness of the Great Empire from the Pacific to the Balkans.
