From the very beginning, the Afghan operation of Major Lavrov and his special forces group of the Airborne Forces went awry. Where the warriors were supposed to land, the Mujahideen suddenly turned out to be. The group was fired in the air, as a result of which the connection with the center was lost. A detachment of special forces suffered heavy losses. But the task – to find and evacuate two Russian intelligence officers – should be completed in any case.
