Many people know and remember the military conflict on the island of Damansky. The events of March 1969 have not yet erased from the memory of the generation. But if about the participation in the military conflict of settlements near Damansky, at least something is known, then that then happened in other border villages, villages, cities, and still nothing is known.
Blagoveshchensk – a Russian border city on the shores of the Amur – directly, whatever, on the very border with the PRC. On the opposite side – the Chinese city of Heihe is a once small village. About everything, more precisely, about a lot that happened in these border villages, starting from the day of their founding, can be found in archives, in libraries, on the pages of old newspapers. And only about a few days of the life of Blagoveshchensk and Heihe we will find practically nothing. And not because nothing has been preserved since that time.
