Russian flag in the Caspian. Two centuries of the Caspian flotilla (middle of the XVII – mid -XIX century): Mikhail Kirokosyan

The book of the Astrakhan researcher included two works dedicated to the history of the Caspian, the formation and development of the naval forces in the Caspian Sea. The book discusses the history of the Caspian flotilla of the Sailry Fleet with Ser. XVII according to ser. XIX centuries, describes the most important events of the combat activity of the flotilla, tells about ships and sailors, interesting and little-known facts from the actions of the flotilla during the Persian campaigns of Peter I, Count V. Zubov and Russian-Persian wars, contain biographies of marine officers.
The book is written on extensive documentary material, and this, without depriving the presentation of fascination, gives it significant persuasiveness.
