The monograph considers the US information and propaganda activity in the international arena during the First World War and the presidency of Woodlon Wilson, who sought to bring America to a leading position in the world. The main object of the study is the government propaganda body-the Committee of Public Information (SI-Pa-Ai), which ensures such a foreign policy and testifies to the obvious ideologization of the US foreign policy of that time. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the American Press Bureau (ABP) – the Russian branch of the committee. On the example of printed publications, films and enlightenment campaigns of ABP, techniques and methods for promoting American values and lifestyle are identified.
