Russian empress. Fashion and style. The end of 18 – the beginning of the 20th century

In 2013, the Romanovs’ advantage of the Romanovs to the Russian throne marks the 400 years. The State Archive of the Russian Federation, together with the state Hermitage and leading museums and archives of the country, prepared a new exhibition about Russian empresses. The fashion and style that they preferred in clothes, what colors, what they wore and when, what they did in their free time, what were their hobbies. This will allow you to see the Russian empresses from a new angle, without which their historical portraits would be incomplete.
