Running in a closed circle: Evgeny Somov

At the heart of the action -packed novel “Running in the Circle Circle” is the dramatic fate of a young talented farcologist, who, having made an outstanding discovery, is faced with the inertness of the environment. Most of his colleagues are not guided by the interests of science, but either career considerations or fear – the action of the novel has been developing in recent decades of the so -called “stagnation”. The hero of the novel has to face with envy, and with obvious blackmail, and with cowardice, and with betrayal from his beloved woman – his opponents do not disdain any means. This is a struggle without rules that forces the hero to make extraordinary decisions, sometimes to look for adventurous outputs from a seemingly hopeless position.
