This collection consists of literary texts of different genres (essays, a story, memoirs, a portrait) of authorship of famous cultural figures, writers, artists, and is illustrated by photographs from family archives. Cases from life, family sagas, stories of lanes and boulevards, different topography – all this mosaic fits into a lovingly written portrait of Moscow, the city, in the history of which the history of all of Russia is reflected. The book will sound very timely right now, when in Moscow there is so much and rapidly changing and a lot, unfortunately, leaves. But what is described and recorded remains forever.
