The proposed biography is dedicated to two significant dates-the 100th anniversary of death († 5.IX.1911) and the 150th anniversary of his birth (2.IV.1862) Peter Arkadyevich Stolypin, with whom many enlightened people and ordinary workers associated the hopes of the exaltation of our country.
The anniversary publication contains a thorough biography of the great reformer, based on the documents of domestic and foreign archives, memoirs of contemporaries P.A. Stolypin and his loved ones, historical and scientific literature about him. Original fragments reveal the relationship of Stolypin with Nicholas II, S. Witte, G. Rasputin, L. Tolstoy, as well as the views on the outstanding reformer of his contemporaries – Wilhelm II, V. Ulyanov -Lenin, V. Maklakov, L. Tikhomirov and other famous historical characters.
