Our native movie: Yuri Zakrevsky

The author of the book – film director, member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia – was a direct participant and witness of events in Soviet cinema and theater. Something is written by him according to rumors, something, in particular, about the personality and work of V. Meyerhold, on the basis of articles published in 1908
By the nature of the activity, the author had to meet with a variety of people, but all of them, of course, are bright personalities.
This is a book of memories and thoughts. The author gives his assessment of films and the state of affairs in the cinema, which may be controversial, but he believes that he has the right to do so, like any viewer.
