It is devoted to the problems of optimizing technical systems in conditions of partial uncertainty of the initial information that arise both in the design of new systems and in intensification and automated management of existing systems. The main provisions of the theory of flexibility of technical systems are given, setting the problems of designing flexible optimal systems are given, and methods for solving the tasks are proposed. The synthesis of optimal chemical and technological systems are considered. The effectiveness of the described methods is illustrated by model examples and real tasks of optimizing technical systems. The presentation of the material is accompanied by control questions and exercises.
For scientific and engineering and technical workers, teachers, graduate students, students whose interests lie in the field of applied mathematics, system analysis, mathematical modeling, optimization, automated design of technical systems in chemical technology and other sciences …
