Native depth: Sergey Rogatko

In the center of the novel, the Peregudin family, which lives in places of the historical Bezhetsky top. The work covers the period from the middle of the 20th century to the present day. Members of this family are our contemporaries: priest, entrepreneur, peasant, historian-local historian, their children. Each of these people in his own way is looking for his only way to God. Each has its own “native depth”, its own path. All of them are so pouring otherwise involved in a family crime. Of all the problems and questions addressed in the novel, one is certainly important for the author – where the point is not a return, after which we all lose our essence, our depth.
