The story is conducted on behalf of the bodyguard-angry Rustam Unanyan, who survived with the “genius of the battle” all the vicissitudes of wars and brief periods of the world. A faithful giant warrior always defended the emperor from a dagger and bullets, repeatedly saved from death, and was an intimate guarantee in alcove stories.
The mystery of such a close relationship between Napoleon and his warrior-guardian always remained in the center of attention of historians and archivists, and only now the details of their relationship, important for understanding the personality of the great Corsican, emperor of France, are becoming known.
The novel is written on the basis of documentary materials stored in the private and state libraries of Paris, Brussels, Munich, Berlin, Yerevan and Moscow.
