What do we remember, being adults, about our childhood? Little Olya grew up in the “barracks”, as the huge stone dormitories were called in Orekhovo-Zuev near Moscow. An iron bed with brilliant bumps that I really wanted to lick, soft feather beds, covered with a bright patchwork blanket, a carpet with a “lup anxy deer” on the wall and a glazed chest of drawers with faience figures that were strictly forbidden to touch – these are the main treasures of its childhood. Olga Isaeva has a brilliant talent to build interesting stories around these little things so sweet to heart.
