Robert Rozhdestvensky was born a poet. You will not confuse his intonation with any other. In the sixties, when poetry escaped in the square and stadiums, he declared himself loudly, ruffle, turning to his peers, “guys with raised collars”, the same as he himself. And then there was a “requiem”, lyrics, and piercing recent verses. And, of course, songs – they sounded on the radio, the whole country sang them, they became the leitmotif of our favorite paintings. It is enough to recall at least this: “Do not think about seconds down …” Robert Rozhdestvensky, the poet and man, appears before us from the pages of this book.
