The book of Sergei Nechaev talks about the life of a wonderful Venetian traveler Marco Polo (1254-1324), as well as the brothers Polo – father and uncle, who traveled to China before him. In 1271, the Brothers Polo and Marco went to wander the three of them, and returned home only in 1292. During this time, Marco Polo managed to perfectly prove himself in the service of Khubilai Khan, studied Mongolian customs and China well, collected a lot of information about Japan, India and Africa. He presented all the information obtained in the “Book of the Wonders of the World”, written from his words Rusticello from Pisa. Its content seemed so amazing to his contemporaries that for a long time Marco Polo had believed few stories. Nevertheless, his book was rewritten many times and supplemented.
The biography of the traveler, written by Sergey Nechaev, is the result of a detailed analysis of two exciting adventures: the eastern adventures of Marco Polo himself and adventures associated with the circumstances of the appearance and content of his books …
