Long flight: Vitaly Bernstein

The author of this book is a doctor of medical sciences, professor, has been living in the USA for more than thirty years. He graduated from the University with a degree in journalism. He writes poetry and prose, published in Russia and in Russian -language literary magazines of the United States. The book “Long Flight” includes novels and stories of different genres – this is the action -packed story “An angel will punish on Thursday”, in which the author long before the tragic events of September 11, 2001 seemed to be attended by an attack on New York, it was a sad lyrical sketch on the interweaving of the Red Cat, and almost documentary story to the echelon to the north. The book completes the book, forcing to think – whether a person can always be recklessly treating his requests to God. The heroes of most works by V. Bernstein are both Americans and the Russian emigration of the last wave. In detail, sometimes with photographic accuracy, the stories written out create a real picture of the life of American society at the turn of the century.
