Europe of the end of the 5th century. Among the many small principalities and kingdoms, the young kingdom of the Franks is gaining strength. In order to strengthen his power, King Clovig I Meroving takes as his wife the daughter of the leader of one of the Frankish tribes, who a year later gives him the son of Theodorich.
