Alexey Kozlov, with his labor and genius, created (and continues to create) the story of our instrumental music. But everything that he wrote and writes will be incomplete without this publication. In it, Kozlov endures several more faces of his gift, acts as a memoirist, a prose writer, a culturologist and a sociologist.
The first book of the two -volume, “Jazisist. The fate of an atypical Soviet man” is an autobiographical prose: piece, voluminous, uncompromising, like its author.
The second volume is a collection of Kozlov’s stories about commemorative cases from his life, articles on various problems and occasions, as well as “rock through the eyes of jazzman”, a kind of monograph on the history of rock culture.
