The landing armada of seventeen ships rushes to the enemy star system. On board one of them, Jack Stenton is a cap of a combat robot in the company of pilot friends, several thousand infantrymen and a couple of enemy spies. The enemy has their own problems, as a result of the coup in the Cattings empire, the ancient race of Gryzottes, uncompromising and aggressive fighters came to power. It’s time to take advantage of this and strike the first, but the spies of the catting intend to disrupt people’s plans. The assembled assault divisions are sent to intercept the landing. Jack and his comrades urgently take places on artillery decks. The attack of the enemy needs to be discouraged at all costs, because there is nowhere to retreat in space …
