Stephen Clark shows Chesterton’s attitude to the then young science fiction genre, in addition, reveals the elements of this genre in his novels. Of particular interest is the final part of the book: the author offers the interpretation of the topics of the XIX-XX centuries topical for Chesterton and his contemporaries from the point of view of the future, presented by a whole century of science fiction, as well as from the point of view of an alternative past, recreated fantasy.
