Yuri Pavlovich Kazakov (1927-1982) – classic of Russian literature of the twentieth century. His stories, which appeared in the mid -fifties, were stunning success – in the author they saw the successor of I. Bunin; Aesthetic disagreements immediately arose with official criticism. However, the author of the brilliant short stories “Mannka”, “trawl”, “in a dream, you cried bitterly”, “Arctur – the houndy dog” always lived on his own, without looking back either at the authorities or the bullets.
