In 1911, the rich and connoisseur of the beautiful Nikolai Zosimov decided at all costs to get the most famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci in his collection. The only trouble is that the picture is not sold: it is exhibited in the Louvre and is the national treasure of France. But is this an obstacle to a passionate collector? Of course not! Zosimov hires a virtuoso fraudster Mikhail Golitsyn and orders him to steal a masterpiece.
