Dee McGil, being the main character of the ironic detective, simply cannot but have “little female weaknesses.” They, namely, amorousness and love of love, become the reasons for her accusing her of the murder of her own lovers by the police. A good lesson for the diligent “student of life”, which Dee considers himself. But she knows that she did not kill anyone. She was just framed. And the motive for all crimes was previously unknown manuscripts of the Great Hemingway, found by one of the killed “princes” of Dee.
