Peter Abelior – one of the most enlightened people of his time – remained in historical memory in the role of a sad lover. Already in the Middle Ages, songs sang about them and composed ballads. We know about the life of Abelar from his beautiful autobiography “The History of My Gounses”, which has entered the real collection in the best translation today.
