The textbook presents the basic concepts of toxicology and environmental toxicology. Priority pollutants and their ecotoxicological characteristics are discussed. The methods of environmental regulation and the principles of sanitary-hygienic regulation of harmful substances in environmental objects (atmospheric air, water and soil) are described. Particular attention is paid to toxicomania (tobacco, drug addiction, alcoholism). The material can be considered as the basis for the deepening and improvement of toxicological and environmental toxicological education at the level of higher education.
