Savva Petrovich Mikhalevich was born in 1955 in Bosnia, in the city of a traveler, but already in 1956 his family moved to the USSR. A deeply believing mother of the boy managed to instill a sincere love for God and his Church. Life in the Sergiev Posad, next to the Great Orthodox shrine – Trinity -Sergius Lavra, contributed a lot. In these ancient walls, the future priest graduated from the seminary and was soon ordained a deacon.
Now Archpriest Savva Mikhalevich is the rector of the Ascension of the Lord of the village of Rakhmanovo, Moscow Region. He began to be printed in 1988 and immediately gained popularity with the reader. His stories about believers, about the church, essays about nature that the father knows and loves is quite widely known. Savva’s father is the author of several books. The book “From the First Person” contains the best stories of the priest of different years.
