The book “For the heart must be believed” will introduce the reader to the environment of the great poet, his friends and relatives, ill -wishers and envious people. He will show the real, Living Pushkin, what he was in the lyceum, with friends, at balls and in the face of the emperor.
The author of the book, Elena Krishtof (1925-2001), makes an attempt to reconsider the old labels hung to the poet’s environment, shows the flip side of the medal, illuminating previously forgotten or unknown events.
