“For free place” is the third novel that included in the Trilogy “Inspector Losev” of the remarkable master of the detective genre Arkady Grigoryevich Adamov (1920-1991). During the investigation of a confusing and dangerous case of murder and robbery on the inspector Losev, a gang attack was committed, but at the cost of incredible efforts and courage he manages not only to remain alive, but also to brilliantly conduct an operation to neutralize the criminal group. Roman was awarded the Award of the All -Union Literary Competition of the Union of Writers of the USSR and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 1982 for the best book about the Soviet police. The Trilogy “Inspector Losev” was awarded the Gold Medal named after Hero of the Soviet Union N. Kuznetsov for the best heroic-adventure work of 1981, established by the joint venture of the RSFSR and on Uralmashzavod.
