Figures of Russian science of the XIX-XX centuries. Issue 4

The collection “figures of the Russian spider of the XIX-XX centuries” is presented in the genre of historical essays dedicated to the scientific, scientific-organizational and social activities of domestic scientists of the two past centuries. Articles are prepared on the basis of printed and archival materials, first introduced into scientific circulation. The collection of articles and memoirs dedicated to the life and activities of the famous St. Petersburg archivist, historian, philologist, doctor of historical sciences Mikhail Shmilievich Faynstein are opened. The following are the traditional section of the publication: “History of Science and Technology”, “History of Historical Science”, “Publications” and “People and Fate”. Such a division into sections of the collection has already been tested in previous issues (figures of Russian science of the XIX-XX centuries. Issue 1-2. St. Petersburg, 2000; Russian science in biographical essays (series “figures of Russian science”). Issue 3. St. Petersburg, 2003).
