In practical examples, the whole process of receiving photos using a digital camera is described – from the purchase of equipment and shooting to processing images on the computer and printing. The necessary information for competent choice of the camera, accessories and the creation of their own photo studio are given. The features and techniques of such types of shooting as portrait, landscape, sports, underwater and so on are described. The methods for processing digital photographs using the popular graphic editor Adobe Photoshop CS2: Improving the quality of the resulting images, restoring old photographs, preparation for printing, etc. are explained in detail. Recommendations are given on the use of various print technologies.
