The author of the book is rightfully considered a Dagestan writer, although he currently lives and works in Moscow. A significant part of his biography and creativity is connected with Dagestan. He was born in 1937 in the city of Makhachkala. His first profession is a special geologist, and in this capacity he worked in the taiga, mountains, steppes and semi -deserts of the country.
Having become a writer, he worked as a correspondent for the Dagestan Pravda newspaper and in other Russian publications. He held responsible positions in the Council of Ministers and the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the DASSR. He was the secretary and deputy chairman of the Writers of Dagestan, executive secretary of the selection committee of the Union of Writers of the RSFSR, secretary of the board of the RSFSR, editor -in -chief of the film studio named after M. Gorky. Currently, the editor -in -chief of the magazine “Students”.
He published about twenty -five books (prose, poetry, artistic translation). Songs are written on his poems, films were shot according to scripts.
