“Chukokkala” and about: Elena Chukovskaya

The book for the first time contains the articles of Elena Chukovskaya, scattered in newspapers, magazines, non -autumn collections and dedicated to the work of Korney Chukovsky, Lydia Chukovskaya and Alexander Solzhenitsyn. These articles and open letters were written in different years and in different eras. The end of the 1980s, which proclaimed publicity, opened the doors for the appearance of prohibited names in the press, prohibited topics, prohibited documents. The collection includes several polemic newspaper articles that allow us to recall how the formation of the law on copyright or the return to the print of the works of A. Solzhenitsyn took place in us.
There was an opportunity to print the diary of Korney Chukovsky, “Chukoccal” without bills and many materials from his vast archive. These numerous publications were often accompanied by introductory explanatory articles and comments by E. Ts. Chukovskaya. The collection includes some entrance notes, excerpts from the interviews, allowing to outline a circle of questions affected in these publications.
