Cancer Corps: Alexander Solzhenitsyn

In 1966, the story “Cancer Corps” was accepted for publication in the journal “New World” (under the chief editor of A.T. Tvardovsky), but soon its printing was stopped by order of the authorities, and the set is scattered. This led to the fact that the work began to disperse in the USSR in Samizdat and was published in the West. Together with the novel “In the First”, the story became a large world literary event and served as one of the reasons for the award of A.I. Solzhenitsyn Nobel Prize.
