Blessed Monica. Mother of Blessed Augustine, for example to follow modern women

With her prayer feat, Blessed Monica showed us the great power of the love of his wife and mother. Family life brought her a lot of sorrow and suffering. She suffered the infidelity and violent disposition of a pagan husband, choosing a path of meekness and love. With her hot prayer and humility, she kept the world in the family and defeated the anger of her husband, who at the end of her life was baptized.
Blessed Monica is revered as the patroness of mothers. Her constant prayer for her son – Blessed Augustine – saved him from spiritual death. Over time, he became one of the greatest fathers of the Church and gratefully wrote that he owed his appeal to Christianity to the prayers of his mother.
