Valentina Sergeevna Dunin from childhood dreamed of serving God in a monastic rank. And exactly forty years, her spiritual father, Metropolitan John (Snychev), prepared her for this feat, teaching the most important of the monastic sciences – humility and obedience. Vladyka wilted the future by his “doctor” and “gold -wwecked”, as Valentina Sergeyevna Samara blessed, and more than once called her Barvarushka. But only after his death and on the eve of her own death, Valentin Sergeevna dared to take tonsure.
