The new English-Russian dictionary, including more than 10,000 words, is not a very ordinary type of publication. The first part of the book is a bilingual dictionary, in which, in addition to the usual information about the word and its translation into Russian, the interpretation (explanation, definition) of the word in English is given. The same part includes a small reference book of the most common names of own and abbreviations (abbreviations) in England. The second part of the dictionary is a number of exercises aimed at developing skills in working with reference literature. These exercises will give teachers and students the opportunity to fill in the existing gap of this kind of manual. In general, the dictionary will provide invaluable assistance to studying English, especially those who are somehow related to translation activity.
