The new story of Nikolai Gavrilov is dedicated to the little -known facts of the Great Patriotic War. This is a story about the fate of soldiers and officers of the Red Army, captured in the early days of the war. In the center of events are prisoners of war camps in Masyukovshchina, where more than 80 thousand Soviet troops were shot. The previous story of Nikolai Gavrilov “Break the Silence” in 2014 became the winner of the Imperial Culture Award in the Prose Nomination founded by the Union of Writers of Russia.
