In 1978, my family and I left Russia at the age of almost fifty, and I managed to take root in America. In this book, I describe how to me, the Russian doctor, I was lucky to break into a rich private medical practice.
Nothing is as interesting as the story of success in a foreign country. This book is a continuation of the memories of the first difficulties of our emigrant life (“Russian Doctor in America”, “Zakharov”, 2001), in it I described how difficult it was to adapt to America. But when I adapted to her, I was already able to adapt America to myself.
